Why Do I Keep Getting Cold Sores On My Lips

I was at the beach and my face got sunburn and now my lips are blistering. My boyfriend is afraid that this is the first sign of having a cold sore virus because the sun can trigger cold sores. I have never had cold sores before. Is this just Sunburn Lips or Start of a Cold Sore Virus ? If yes, what are the things you can do to treat your cold sore once and for all. Also I kissed him but my lips aren't as bad as it used to be. I have been putting ointment on my lips for two days now. My lips look and feel much better. Should he worry about getting anything?

If you are also wondering same as the question above, then read the whole article as I have some few things you can do to treat your cold sore once and for all also you will find a range of things that usually will cause a cold sore and how you can treat it. But first can sunburns lead to cold sore? I would say yes the sun can trigger cold sores but usually that is because the person already has the virus. By the sound of your situation I say you are safe and you had sunburn lips, but lay off the kissing until your lips are completely healed and in future wear sun screen and a hat, sunburn is dangerous in itself.

Do you notice right before you get a cold sore, a day or two before you'll feel the spot kind of tingling? That's the sign a cold sore is coming and that's the best time to be applying the medication. Once you actually have the cold sore, those medications won't do much but slightly aid in healing. Also, prevention is very vital in every cold sore situation! Many things can trigger a cold sore and it's different for everyone, one trigger I never knew before my doctor told me is actually sunlight, so finding a chap stick with an SPF will help prevent them also.

So basically yes, Cold sores can be caused by almost anything including Stress, Vitamin B12 deficiency, Iron deficiency, allergy, some are even caused by your own body attacking itself. Things like smoking, rec drugs, chocolate, caffeine, etc... I really wouldn't worry about it, it's basically like pimple, harmless but annoying, and no one really knows where they come from.

Cold sores can also be caused by more serious things like cancer, gingivitis, herpes, but usually this outbreaks are much more extreme in nature and require a doctor visits, usually multiple outbreaks. For treating it, you can use Bonjela OTC, also baking soda will work in a jam.
